Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Exclusive Batman vs Two-Face 2 Pack Review

Mezco Toyz Batman vs Two Face 2 Pack

Mezco does it again with another Batman and Two Face! Over the past few years many Mezco customers feel there's been to much focus on Batman, but I'm not one of those collectors and I really enjoy what this 2-pack comes with and the throwback feel to the figures.  If you've followed the Batman comics for a long time then you are going to enjoy this set.  The artwork on the boxes is excellent and really matches what Mezco has put together in figure form. Let's take a closer look at this 2-pack and everything it comes with.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Exclusive Rumble Society Hoodz: VAPOR Review

 Mezco Toyz Hoodz: VAPOR Review

Mezco has done well with creating their own unique characters and Vapor is no exception to the line.  Mezco has been in the game for awhile, and they are starting to bring back some of their early classic looks.  Vapor has a ton of personality and appeal with his bright colors and amazing expressions!  I wasn't sure if this was a figure I would get into, but after having him in hand he's a great change of pace from Mezco's usual releases.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Exclusive Superman- 1978 Edition Review

 Mezco Toyz Superman- 1978 Edition

A classic that almost needs zero introduction, the original Superman (1978) Christopher Reeves finally gets a release from Mezco and its really well done. I'm and 80's kid and can fondly remember watching the movie many times on the weekends.  There was just something about Reeve's and the persona he carried as Superman, it just felt like it was a perfect fit.  I would read the comics, and still have my 1980's Superman and Clark Kent Super Powers figures they were the first line of toys I collected. I was extremely happy to see Mezco would be releasing their version but was worried what the final product would look like.  He finally came and I ripped open my tin to find an excellent figure with lots of details and accessories.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective DC KGBeast Figure Review

Mezco Toyz DC KGBeast Figure Review

Finally we are getting some of the DC villain characters after all of the Batman releases from Mezco. Listen, I love Batman and I have almost every version Mezco has put out, but I've been anxiously waiting for some villains.  I've been excited to get KGBeast from the day Mezco made their announcement he was apart of their lineup.  Once I had him in hand I was overly impressed with the amount of detail and quality that was put into the figure.  I honestly don't think there's much more that could of been added to the figure.  Now let's take a closer look at KGBeast and see what makes this a great release from Mezco.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Hellboy (2019) Review

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Hellboy Review

There's been a few iterations of Hellboy with lots of debate over what's a good movie/bad movie and poor take on the character.  Lionsgate not long ago released their version of Hellboy and it didn't receive a lot of  great reviews which was a let down.  Mezco bought in to the new film and created the iconic Hellboy from this film, and even if you don't like the movie you have to say this is a great figure.  A few companies have recently released a version of the character, but Mezco's take on the character from the movie really looks and feels good in your hands. Let's take a closer look at Mezco's version of Hellboy and why he's worth adding to your collection.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Black Bolt and Lockjaw Review

Mezco Toyz Black Bolt and Lockjaw Review

I have to admit, I'm not a huge Inhumans fan with the story line and characters but I wasn't going to miss out on getting Lockjaw! Black Bolt is the King of the Inhumans with many assorted powers mostly based off of his insanely loud voice.  The King can do damage to anything even with a few soft spoken words, this is power that we can only dream of.  Lockjaw is the protector of the Inhumans family, and has the ability to teleport across time and space and is a key part of the Inhumans. This set took a little longer than I expected to released, but once in hand it's awesome and Lockjaw is the crown jewel in this set.  Mezco keeps hitting us with great release after great release, its hard for all of us to keep up!

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Popeye & Bluto: Stormy Seas Ahead Deluxe Boxed Set

Mezco Toyz Bluto and Popeye Set Review

The Popeye story is a character that goes way back, so far back your parents know who the characters are.  He's a sailor who loves spinach always battling against Bluto is his arch-rival. Mezco has released two previous versions of Popeye about a year ago, but many were hoping we would eventually get a Bluto to go with him and Mezco hooked it up!  The box set is pretty much an ultimate set for both characters, coming with lots of iconic accessories and the unique look all Popeye fans love and adore. I was excited when I first saw the announcement of the set, and it's even better in hand. Mezco always brings the heat and this deluxe set nails these two characters perfectly.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Harley Quinn Review

  Mezco Toyz Harley Quinn Review

It's Harley Quinn, this sweet little girl that likes long walks and lolly pops.  If that were Harley I think she would be a much different character, maybe even a woman who pursues Bruce Wayne.  Harley is a bad, bad girl with lots of crazy thoughts going through her head and shes's in love with everyone's favorite whack job the Joker.  The first Harley I owned was the Mezco movie version and I thought she was a very cool figure with great head sculpts. This Harley, is the one that we saw in the comics or even some animated series where she just likes to be a wild girl. I was excited to get her in hand and when I opened her up, she really met my expectations.  Let's take a closer look at this very kind and lovely woman we call Harley Quinn.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Nosferatu Review

Mezco Toyz
Nosferatu
Mezco surprised everyone when they announced that they would be doing a figure from the 1922 silent German film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror which was the first vampire film. It's a classic character that has had a major influence on all other vampire films that have come out since then. I honestly don't love vampires or the horror genre in general, but this figure is so visually appealing that it has become one of my favorite Mezco figures which is a pleasant surprise.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Gomez - The Clan of The Golden Dragon Review

Mezco Toyz Gomez-The Clan of the Golden Dragon Review

First it was the White and Black Shadow Gomez Assassin that came out as Asia Goal exclusives.  I'll admit I was disappointed because I love ninja's and I wasn't going to pay the mark up on the figures.  I've held out and still don't own either of the White or Shadow Assassin Gomez and boy I'm glad I did.  Enter the SDCC 2020 Golden Dragon Gomez, it was exactly what I've been waiting for.  He wasn't the white or black but he still looked awesome and I purchased two of them.  Now that I have it in hand, it's exactly what I would expect to get from a ninja figure.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective MDX John Wick Review

Mezco Toyz John Wick Review
John Wick blew up on the scene a few years ago and has been a total hit!  Keanu is really at his best in this role, and the gun play and action sequences are excellent.  Mezco has taken his character from John Wick 2 and put him into a sophisticated 1/12 scale.  The hype for this figure has been ongoing for over a year, but when I finally got him in my hands I really feel like it’s average at best.  Mezco had a lot of time and pushed back the release date, all raising our hopes that this would truly be an ultimate figure. I was let down, but let's take a closer look at the final John Wick from Mezco Toyz.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective MDX Blade Review

Mezco Toyz MDX Blade Review
The first version of Blade from Mezco has been considered one of their best releases to date.  We were lucky enough to get this MDX version of Blade that includes some unique pieces the original Blade did not come with.  He is outfitted with a new tactical vest as well as the same handgun leg harness that came with the Toy Fair exclusive Blade. I really like both of these additions along with two different head sculpts compared to the standard release. Let's take a closer look at Blade's details and dig into the pros and cons of Mezco's latest release.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Rumble Society Baron Bends Review

Mezco Toyz Rumble Society
Baron Bends
Baron Bends is the latest Rumble Society release from Mezco Toyz, an original designed under water Aqua-Knight. Baron is an ancient warlord from the cosmic realm, who searches time and space on a quest with no endgame in sight. An interesting background for an original character, and I give Mezco credit for creating characters outside the DC/Marvel realm. I was able to check him out in person at ToyFair, and really enjoyed their setup and what I saw. Let's take a closer look at the Baron Bends bundle, and how it stands up to other Mezco releases.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Spider-Man Far From Home Figure Review

Mezco Toyz Spider-Man Far From Home
The newest movie versions of Spider-Man have been a huge hit with Marvel fans. I believe this is the 4th Spider-Man version Mezco has released in the similar red with black or blue highlighted suits.  I'm not counting the black PX version as this is a different suit and look all together.  I've always been a fan of the classic Spider-Man look and it was the first version Mezco released and I purchased.  What drew me into purchasing this version is the black and red suit along with some amazing accessories and head sculpts.  I'm very pleased with the Tom Holland head sculpt, Tony Stark glasses, and the perfect effect of a web mask that covers a figures face.  Now its time to take a closer look at the pros and cons of the latest release from Mezco Toyz.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Magneto Review

Mezco Toyz
Magneto
I am a huge X-MEN fan so of course I was ecstatic to find out that Mezco was going to be making arguably the ultimate baddie in the X-MEN universe. I am extremely happy with how he turned out and I think they knocked him out of the park.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Cable Figure Review

Mezco Toyz Cable
Cable was sent to the future to save his life when he was infected with a future virus.  Sounds like a great opening to an excellent movie right?  Cable was one of my favorite characters to read about in my 1990's comic binge I did as a kid. I was so attracted to the weapons in comics, and Cable always carried large, unique, futuristic guns that just jumped off the page.  When Mezco first announced this figure, I was thrilled to see they gave Cable his proper arsenal.  Let's take a closer look at how well Mezco did executing a major character to so many people in the 90's.

Mezco Toyz One:12 A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger Review

Mezco Toyz
A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger
Horror is not my favorite genre of movie, but I do love myself a good horror movie action figure. I loved the One:12 Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees figures so it really isn't any surprise that I love the One:12 Freddy Krueger as well. He comes with a body that has great articulation which is the reason I think this figure is even better than the Michael Myers.

Mezco Toyz Exclusive Pink Skulls Chaos Club Figure Review

Mezco Toyz
PSCC Set Review
Mezco surprised us all with the Pink Skulls Chaos Club, and everyone went nuts!  You may wonder what's all the craze about 3 guys in pink skulls, and it's because its related to GOMEZ! Let's face it, if you are currently collecting the Mezco one:12 line you are probably really into the Mezco mascot.  The Pink Skulls are foes of Gomez, and most likely come from all the dimension jumping Gomez does. I look at this group as an 80's punk gang, creating havoc with everything they come in contact with.  Let's take a closer look at the Pink Skulls and see if this is a must own set.

Mezco Toyz 2019 NYCC Exclusive Stealth Gomez Figure Review

Mezco Toyz
2019 NYCC Exclusive Stealth Gomez
Gomez is that Mezco mascot bug you just can't get enough of.  It's a good thing too, because Mezco keeps lighting it up with hit after hit versions of Gomez.  The latest is the Stealth Ops Gomez that comes loaded with so many great accessories you don't know what to do with it all!  The all black sleek look really captures a Spec Ops type feel for the figure and I couldn't be happier. Mezco has now released 5 versions of Gomez and all of them are equally spectacular.  Let's take a closer look at what this bug in all black has to offer to us Mezco collectors!
