Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Exclusive Batman vs Two-Face 2 Pack Review

Mezco Toyz Batman vs Two Face 2 Pack

Mezco does it again with another Batman and Two Face! Over the past few years many Mezco customers feel there's been to much focus on Batman, but I'm not one of those collectors and I really enjoy what this 2-pack comes with and the throwback feel to the figures.  If you've followed the Batman comics for a long time then you are going to enjoy this set.  The artwork on the boxes is excellent and really matches what Mezco has put together in figure form. Let's take a closer look at this 2-pack and everything it comes with.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Batman: MDX Supreme Knight: Shadow Edition Review

Mezco Toyz Batman: MDX Supreme Knight Review

Mezco has always crushed it when it comes to Batman, simply put the owner of Mezco Toyz is a die hard Batman fan so of course he gets the most attention.  Mezco has been closing out the trilogy with the Supreme Knight figures, and the MDX may have saved the best Batman release for last!  There are so many amazing things that come with this version, which I essentially consider an 'Ultimate" Mezco Batman.  I was excited to take him out of the box and look at all of the wonderful things he comes with. Let's take a closer look at this jam packed Batman and see if he lives up to the hype!

Hiya Toys Exquisite Mini's Injustice 2 Video Game DC Figures Review

Hiya Toys Exquisite Mini's Injustice 2 Video DC Figures

Bane: Darkseid: Aquaman: Reverse Flash:

Hiya toys started me off with their DC Injustice 2 figures about a year ago when I did my first review on them.  My initial take was they are great figures for their scale and pretty well made.  There were some slight paint issues with the figures but overall I gave them a good rating. Fast forward to the next set of Injustice 2 figures Hiya just released and they really upped the ante. The second series comes with Darkseid, Aquaman, Bane and Reverse Flash, which ends up being a very nice release.  Reviewing their first wave of figures was a lot of fun, but I couldn't wait to see what the larger figures looked like out of the box.  Hiya is quickly becoming a hot company, let's see if they maintained that hot streak with this new wave release.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Harley Quinn Review

  Mezco Toyz Harley Quinn Review

It's Harley Quinn, this sweet little girl that likes long walks and lolly pops.  If that were Harley I think she would be a much different character, maybe even a woman who pursues Bruce Wayne.  Harley is a bad, bad girl with lots of crazy thoughts going through her head and shes's in love with everyone's favorite whack job the Joker.  The first Harley I owned was the Mezco movie version and I thought she was a very cool figure with great head sculpts. This Harley, is the one that we saw in the comics or even some animated series where she just likes to be a wild girl. I was excited to get her in hand and when I opened her up, she really met my expectations.  Let's take a closer look at this very kind and lovely woman we call Harley Quinn.

Mezco Toyz 2019 NYCC Exclusive Batman vs Black Mask Figure Set Review

Mezco Toyz
NYCC 2019 Exclusive Batman vs Black Mask Set
I've been patiently waiting for Mezco to release more bad guys, and I'm really happy Black Mask is the latest!  Mezco killed it with an NYCC exclusive 2-pack set of Batman and Black Mask and probably the coolest thing that came out of NYCC.  The characters are true DC icons that really deserved a sweet blacked out set.  The mob boss Black Mask has his clutch on the criminal landscape of Gotham, and only the Sovereign Knight can stop him!  Let's take a closer look at this amazing set that sold out within 5 minutes of going up for pre-order!

HIYA Toys Thinkgeek Exclusive Harley Quinn

Hiya Toys ThinkGeek Harley Quinn
I think Harley is the baddest girl of the entire bunch.  She's a fun character to play with in Injustice 2 with lots of great moves.  Hiya's adaption of Harley is pretty spot on from what we see in Injustice.  This particular figure is the alternate purple costume from the game. Let's take a closer look at Harley and what Hiya toys has to offer!

HIYA Toys Thinkgeek Exclusive Superman

Hiya Toys ThinkGeek Superman
Up in the sky, its a bird, its a plane, no its SUPERMAN!  Superman's suit is more of a modern look from the Injustice 2 video game.  Hiya does a really good job of capturing this costumes from the game and it produces a sharp look.  I actually don't play with Superman in Injustice 2 that much, as I'm really a huge Batman fan from the game.  Let's take a closer look at another great figure from Hiya toys and see how it turned out!

HIYA Toys Swamp Thing Figure Review

Hiya Toys Swamp Thing
Is the Swamp Thing a human or a monster?  He's a MONSTER, that looks like a mix of trees, branches and maybe a little bit of the Hulk.  I read some of the comics as a kid, watched the movie as a teen and always thought he was a weird character.  This version of Swamp Thing is based off of the video game version in Injustice2 that I've played and I'm actually pretty good with him!

HIYA Toys Harley Quinn Figure Review

Hiya Toys Harley Quinn
I think Harley is the baddest girl of the entire bunch.  She's a fun character to play with in Injustice 2 with lots of great moves.  Hiya's adaption of Harley is pretty spot on from what we see in Injustice.  This particular figure is the classic costume which I actually like the best. Mezco Toyz Mezitz 1989 Batman and Batmobile

Mezco Toyz Mezitz
1989 Batman and Batmobile
It's 1989 and Batman is finally on the big screen and it was a huge leap from the previous TV adaption of the character.  Mezco has taken this iconic film/look of Batman and brought it to life in their Mezitz format!  The Batmobile is perfectly scaled with their 2" Mezitz figures and is a really cool piece to play with and look at!

Mezco Toyz One:12 Clown Prince of Crime Joker Review

Mezco Toyz Joker Clown Prince of Crime Edition
The Joker is crazy, and he's a really creepy clown.  Batman's most lethal foe is always cooking up crazy plans of crime and chaos in the dark city of Gotham.  Joker is considered by many people to be the greatest single villain of all time. If you have to sit and think for a minute as to why, then you probably are not a fan of the Joker. Mezco has produced three versions of Joker so far, each one with a unique look for you to decide what's your favorite version.  If you are like me, I have picked up all three versions and hope Mezco continues to do more!

Mezco Toyz One:12 Darkseid Figure Review

Mezco Toyz Darkseid
Darkseid starts at the top of any list when it comes to all time super villains.  He is the father of other villains (Orion, Kalibak, Grayven, and Grail) that all carry their own weight in the DC world of comics.  Darkseid is the ruler Apokolips but desires to conquer the universe and of course crush all free will. Darkseid has so many abilities that beating him takes an army of superheros fighting against him at full strength.  Does Mezco provide us with an ultimate version of Darkseid, or is this figure not worth the hype?

Mezco Toyz SDCC 2018 Exclusive Batman Beyond Review

Mezco Toyz
Batman Beyond

The Batman Beyond series ran about 20 years ago, and it was really never my favorite version of him.  That being said, Mezco does an excellent job of translating the character into figure form.  The storyline revolves around Terry McGinnis taking over the role of Batman with an older Bruce Wayne serving as a mentor to him. I found this to be an interesting character for Mezco to produce, but the look and feel turned out great.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Exclusive BvS Knightmare Batman Review

Mezco Toyz Exclusive BvS Knightmare Batman
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a highly controversial movie with DC fans, and you either love it or you hate it. Despite how you feel about Zack Snyder or how the movie was you can not deny that this figure is amazing. It is based on a couple minutes in the film where we see a dystopian future/alternate reality where everything you know about these characters is turned upside-down. It is an earth where Superman is evil and doesn't hesitate to kill and Batman is a resistance fighter who doesn't have any problem with picking up a gun to get the job done. Mezco had originally shown a prototype of this figure but later announced that they were cancelling the project. Luckily, an outcry from Mezco fans in support of this figure erupted, and Mezco listened and made this figure a reality.

2018 Mezco Toy Fair Exclusive Ascending Knight Batman

Mezco Toyz Toy Fair Exclusive
Ascending Knight Batman
OK...so I really like this Batman.  Mezco's Toy Fair Exclusive Ascending Knight is already a hit with anyone that loves Mezco and Batman.  There has been a lot of talk around the variances with this version and if it will end up being the best one of the Ascending Knights.  I, personally, think it will be close as Mezco is coming out with some really strong suits in this category.  Let's take a closer look at Mezco's New York Toy Fair Exclusive Batman.

DC Collectibles at 2015 Toy Fair

DC Collectibles was another company that brought their A game at this years Toy Fair. From the highly successful Batman: The Animated Series line, to the Designer Series, to the Icons Series, to the Arrow TV Series figures there is certainly A LOT to be excited about this year.

The figures in the Icons series look beautiful. I will be very tempted to buy a lot of them this year. I also love the Batman: The Animated Series line. So far, I only have Mr. Freeze, but that is going to change this year. I particularly like the figures for Bane and the Penguin. Also, the new Batmobile looks sick!

Unfortunately, due to us deciding to go to Toy Fair at the last minute we didn't secure an appointment with DC Collectibles. We made it to the booth, but it was quite crowded and because of that we didn't get as many pictures as we would have hoped to take. See below for just a little taste of what we got to see.
