Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Popeye & Bluto: Stormy Seas Ahead Deluxe Boxed Set

Mezco Toyz Bluto and Popeye Set Review

The Popeye story is a character that goes way back, so far back your parents know who the characters are.  He's a sailor who loves spinach always battling against Bluto is his arch-rival. Mezco has released two previous versions of Popeye about a year ago, but many were hoping we would eventually get a Bluto to go with him and Mezco hooked it up!  The box set is pretty much an ultimate set for both characters, coming with lots of iconic accessories and the unique look all Popeye fans love and adore. I was excited when I first saw the announcement of the set, and it's even better in hand. Mezco always brings the heat and this deluxe set nails these two characters perfectly.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Marvel Blade Figure Review

Mezco Toyz Blade
Blade, otherwise known as Eric Brooks, was only a newborn when his mother was attacked by the doctor delivering the baby (Vampire Deacon Frost) and killed her.  In doing so he passed enzymes in his blood into the infant that would eventually become Blade. Blade would go on realizing his powers and fighting all kinds of vampires through time...one of them being Dracula.  Let's see if Mezco's version lives up to the hype of the notorious DAY WALKER!

Mezco Toyz One:12 Batman Day Ascending Knight Black Variant Review

Mezco Toyz
Batman Day Black Variant Ascending Knight Batman
Mezco decided to celebrate Batman day with this all black with gold belt Ascending Knight Variant! The Ascending Knight brings with it a very distinct look as Batman evolves over time. This version has a very similar look to the exclusive Batman that was given out by Mezco at NY Toyfair.  The Ascending Knight has quickly become a cool little collection I have, and in the end I plan to have all four versions Mezco is making. Let's get into the details with this third installment of the Ascending Knight Batman.

Mezco Toyz One:12 NYCC Exclusive Marvel Red Skull Figure Review

Mezco Toyz NYCC Red Skull
The Red Skull you are about to read about, is from his first encounter with Captain America in 1941.  Its a very clean green design, evil enough to be distinguish between olive green friend or communist foe. There are many things to like about this crazy character, depending on the time you were staying up late to read comics (some of us still do). Being a WWII junkie and Captain America fan, Red Skull became an easy Nazi you love to hate. He admired Hitler for his ideological vision, but grew tired of being his subordinate. Let's see where this Mezco Red Skull falls as a legit one:12 figure.
