Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Ghostbusters Deluxe Box Set Review

Mezco Toyz Ghostbusters Set
Venkman. Stantz. Spengler. Zeddemore. Who you gonna call? The GHOSTBUSTERS!!!

Pros
  • 8 total head scupts (2 for each character)
  • Excellent body articulation
  • 6 interchangeable hands per figure
  • Highly detailed, tailored uniforms with utility belt, zipper, elbow pads, and work boots
  • 4 proton packs, proton streams, and walkie talkies
  • Bacharach Sniffer 300
  • PKE meter
  • Ghost trap with pedal
  • Ecto goggles
  • Articulated Slimer
  • Huge, collector friendly metal tin packaging
Cons
  • The belt has a hard time sitting on his waist
  • The jacket can be restrictive and a little bulky
  • His body is on the smaller side and would prefer him to be a little bulkier
Figure
The figures look fantastic from head to toe. I am extremely impressed by how accurate the face sculpts are in particular. Each figure comes with a standard head as well as an expressive head. The expressive ones are my favorite head sculpt for most of these figures. On top of that their suits are top notch. They are extremely detailed and most importantly movie accurate. They nailed it all from the patches, to the zippers, the elbows pads, boots, etc. There was a good mix of accessories for all four figures. Some of the highlights for me are of course the proton packs, the Ghost trap, and Ecto goggles. Lastly, what would our Ghostbusters be without the one and only Slimer? He was certainly a fun add on, and I am glad that they included a clear plastic stand for him so he can "float" around.
Overall
This Ghostbusters pack was a highly anticipated release for Mezco collectors, and they did not disappoint us. The entire presentation is just beautiful. The massive collectors tin is a thing of beauty in and of itself. All four figures are extremely high quality and detailed.  Whether you are a diehard Ghostbusters fan or a One:12 Collective collector you are going to want to get your hands on these. I had a lot of fun posing, playing with, and photographing these guys. Please, let us know what you think of them.
