NECA TOYS Retro Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes To Midnight Eddie Review

Retro Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight

"2 minutes to midnight,
The hands that threaten doom."

Following The Trooper, The Mummy, and the Piece of Mind Eddies, NECA has brought back the iconic mascot of Iron Maiden again for another kick ass figure. This time NECA brings us the 2 Minutes to Midnight retro format Eddie! Besides my Snake Plissken and VGA Freddy this is now my third retro format figure, and I continue to like them more and more with each one I buy.

Just like all of the figures in the retro format, this comes in the collector-friendly, resealable packaging. I am a big fan of resealable packaging whenever possible since I like to open my figures and take them out of the box.

And within that packaging comes the fantastic card art which is the same as the single cover of 2 Minutes to Midnight which came out in one of the best years ever...1984! . Not to sound like a broken record, but this is one of the coolest things about the retro format. I almost like the card as much as the figure itself. Almost. It's an awesome bonus to the figure.

This Eddie looks pretty sick. He's decked out in black with combat boots, eye patch, and stogie! Hell yeah. He is roughly eight inches in height and comes with two different hands as well as his assault rifle! He is easy to pose whether you want to stand him up or sit him down like he is on the cover of the single.

Whether you are a fan of the retro format figures by NECA or just an Iron Maiden fan then this is a figure you will want to pick up. You will not be disappointed.

I am holding out hope that NECA will produce an Aces High Eddie as it's next retro Iron Maiden figure...that will be an instant buy!
