Starting as a young boy, I've had an obsession with skeletons whether in some scary room of the dead or warriors fighting them in old school movies.  Skeleton toys were a big thing in the 80's when I was growing up but we never had a true skeleton to play with.  Enter Sega and the game Golden Axe, where you could enjoy beating up on some very cool skeletons.  So many cartoons in the 80's had some kind of skeleton bad guy or weird scene with skeletons in the background or rising from the dead.  Golden Axe became that game where I could play out fighting these creepy skeleton warriors. Fast forward to today and Storm is releasing figures from the game including the skeletons! Enough about my love for them, let's take a closer look to see how well Storm did at pulling off highly articulated skeletons.

NECA Toys Arcade Appearance Xeno Warrior

Regular readers of our website know that we are huge fans of the video game appearance style figures by NECA Toys. What started with a one off SDCC exclusive NES-style Jason Voorhees figure has blossomed into a wildly popular line for NECA. One of my favorite VGA figures up to this point was the blue and brown Dog Alien. This Warrior which is based off the 1990 arcade game is right up there with it in my mind. Let's take a closer look at what makes this figure so great.

NECA TOYS SDCC Exclusive Arcade TMNT/FOOT Sets Review

Where do I even begin with these? Over and over Randy Falk and the crew over at NECA TOYS find ways to make the unthinkable happen. This year's SDCC exclusive sets are no exception. The Konami arcade styled TMNT and Foot four packs just miiiight be my favorite thing NECA has done to date. (With that said, I am certainly looking forward to the 1/4 scale movie Donatello hitting retail this fall).

Those that know me know that I am one of the biggest TMNT fans out there. When I think about my childhood and toys I think about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Over the last few years I've found some online buddies who share this passion with me such as The Sewer Den and Crooked Ninja (good guys...check 'em out).

As a hardcore TMNT fan I am ecstatic! Totally freaking excited! This has been many years in the making and Randy's patience and perseverance has finally paid off.
