  There are many versions out there of Captain America. Even though the classic look has always been my favorite I really enjoy the modern version of him as well.  The colors on the modern version are darker, and he doesn't have the wings coming out of his helmet. Instead, they are painted on the side.  There are slight variances between the classic and modern styles. Which one you prefer all depends on what your taste is! Let's take a closer look at Mezco's modern Captain America.

Pros

• Super articulated body with over 32 points of articulation
• Highly realistic looking fabric uniform 
• Detailed costume accents including belt, gloves and boots
• Includes magnetic attachments for harness and shield
• Captain America masked and unmasked Steve Rogers portrait
• Shield has a magnet to leave on his back

Cons

• The boots can sometimes limit mobility affecting posing 

Packaging

Captain America comes in the standard Mezco box packaging with a nice piece of artwork on the inside of the box.  When you open the box he is displayed in window packaging revealing all that he comes with along with his stand.  On the back, it shows Cap in a few different poses to give you some ideas for how you can pose your figure. Mezco's packaging is always a highlight with any figure you buy from them.

If you like figures with great articulation and detail then Mezco is making the perfect figures for you.  Captain America is highly detailed from top to bottom, and he looks perfect.  The body is well made and which makes it easy to come up with plenty of poses and looks for you to choose from.  He comes with lots of different hands, two grenades, and his classic shield.  The shield is awesome! It uses magnets to stay in place which really comes in handy when you are trying to pose him. There is also a magnet where the straps meet on his back that allow for him to hold his shield.

Overall

Captain America is a great addition to my growing line of Mezco One:12 figures.  He is well made, has a distinct look, and a lot of fun to play with a pose.  There are 3 total versions of Captain America available, and all three are equally sharp and unique.  Don't miss out on this growing line that is providing us with great versions of all of our favorite characters!
