IMMORTAL HULK

Well, this has been my first toy review in quite a while. It's been a busy season in life, but I am making a decision to be disciplined about making time for toys and reviews. We started doing these as a way to blow of steam and have fun so it's good to get back to that.

It is ironic to me that I am reviewing Diamond Select Toys. This is the company that sparked us to start TURDSDAY after all. We went hard in the paint with DST. While neither collect a lot made by them I do have a decent sized Marvel Select collection. I keep them out in my toy room so that my son can play with them when he is in there with me. 

I am very glad that DST came out with this version of the Hulk. I have three other versions and not only do they not look appealing they are very light and cheap feeling. They weren't sturdy like Juggernaut or Abomination. This figure is thick and definitely chunky. I like it a lot. It looks like classic Incredible Hulk to me and probably is my favorite Hulk figure I own.

Pros:

• 2 Head sculpts 
• 2 Interchangeable hands
• Hefty, solid build
• Great sculpt

Cons:

• Some might say the articulation, but this figure surprised me in that it moves a lot better than I thought a figure of this size would be able to. This figure is an example of DST at their finest.

This is an incredible iteration of the Hulk. He comes with 2 different heads, a pair of fists, and a pair of open hands. He is thick and beefy and will instantly be a noticeable favorite on your shelf. Both head sculpts are very well done, but the classic head is my favorite. This figure definitely is just as hefty as Juggernaut and Abomination. The bigger, thicker Selects by DST tend to be some of my favorite figures by them. This figure more than makes up for the other Hulks I have that left me feeling underwhelmed.

Overall

Many of my fellow toy collectors say this is the best Hulk figure ever. I don't own enough to know if that is true, but I can safely say this is an excellent version of him and he is the best version of Hulk that I own. Hulk is a classic Marvel hero that everyone should have in their collection. It might as well be this one because it is one awesome figure.

This was a fun figure to dive back into reviews with. My son helped me set up and had a lot of fun doing it. He was very into posing. I simply got enjoyment out of his enjoyment, and I am sure he will be joining me for future reviews.
