Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Punisher Review

Mezco Toyz Punisher
Around this time last year images of the vast expansion of Mezco's One:12 Collective line were showing up.  Many great figures were shown, but their versions of The Punisher really caught my attention.  I am a huge Punisher fan and until recently there hasn't been a good toy version made of him.  After receiving the final version of the Punisher I realize Mezco was the company to finally make a great version of him!

Pros
  • Super articulated body with over 32 points of articulation
  • 3 different realistic Punisher portraits
  • Fabric uniform with silk screening applications
  • Detailed sculpt accents for belt, gloves, harness and boots
  • Full arsenal of weapons including 9 mm pistol, sub-machine gun, grenade launcher, knife and machine gun
Cons
  • Guns are made well but some parts are thin and can break
  • Skull chest armor can't be removed from the figure
Packaging
The packaging follows the standard Mezco One:12 box presentation look.  The packaging is well done and keeps everything separated with a window box. Inside the package are multiple trays to hold the figure and all of its accessories it comes with.

Figure
If you like figures with great articulation and detail then Mezco is making the perfect figures for you.  Punisher is highly detailed from top to bottom, and packs a lot of punch for its price.  The body is well made and provides plenty of poses and looks for you to choose from.  I personally love the screaming portrait he comes with as it looks identical to a lot of the comics I read as a kid. His skull armor is highly detailed, hands provide a lot of variation for holding weapons, and all of his parts can easily be swapped.

Overall
I love the Punisher, he is my favorite comic book character, and this figure lives up to the love I have for him.  He has all of the distinct looks, an arsenal of weapons, and plenty of articulation to get every pose I am going for. I already have the Batman and many versions of Mezco's Judge Dredd, but Punisher has become my favorite Mezco figure to date.
