NECA TOYS Aliens GITD Eggs and Facehuggers Review

Aliens
GITD Facehuggers and Eggs

If you are a fan of the NECA Toys Aliens line then you are going to want to add these GITD Xeno eggs! NECA has already brought us the Alien egg carton a little while back, and the GITD versions add a special touch to the eggs and facehuggers.  If you are into making your own dioramas like we are then the Alien eggs are a dream come true for you!

Pros:
  • Excellent paint application to the eggs and facehuggers
  • GITD effect works extremely well
  • Using a black light adds an excellent look to the already amazing eggs and facehuggers
  • Unique look in normal light
Cons:
  • The Eggs and Facehuggers are perfect, no paint flaking
Packaging:

The Alien eggs come in the same egg carton as the first series, but have an awesome unique blackout carton. It looks just like a carton of a half dozen eggs you would pick up from the supermarket...until you look at it more closely that is! Once again, this idea is extremely creative and we give major props to whoever thought it up. As usual, NECA paid very close attention to all of the small details. That's really what they do best.
Eggs and Facehuggers:
Upon opening that carton you will see that there are six Alien eggs inside of it. Of the six, three of them are closed and three of them are open and have a Facehugger inside of it. The eggs look particularly awesome right out of the package with a light yellow hue to them. The facehuggers are equally unique and there is no shortage of cool ways to use them. You can have them exiting its egg, ready to pounce, or stuck on an unlucky victims face! Also, the tail of the Facehuggers are bendable so that you can pose them exactly as you wish.

Overall:
This is a very fun and unique addition to the Alien Eggs line! The GITD feature is a nice change from the regular eggs and the facehuggers stand out right before you turn your lights on!  I was very happy that the GITD paint applications were well done and glow very well.  Using a black light with the eggs and facehuggers really make for some fun pictures. The GITD eggs are out now so make sure to keep an eye out and pick up a set!
