NECA TOYS T2 Classic VGA T-800 Review

VGA T2 T-800

My older brother and I logged many, many hours playing T2 when we were kids. Back then we were often beating the crap out of each other so it was nice to have something we could play together...without trying to kill each other. While we loved the movie, the game kind of sucked! We preferred the T2 arcade game version. Luckily, even though the game sucked the figure is very cool!

Packaging:

Like all video game appearance figures by NECA, this figure comes in the resealable collector-friendly packaging with window box and flap. The front and back of the packaging look just like the old school packaging on the video game by LJN.

Figure and Accessories:

The figure comes with two interchangeable heads. One is the standard head with sunglasses while the other is a battle damaged version. This figure comes with one weapon which is a saw-offed 12 gauge shotgun.

The figure itself is decked out in the iconic leather jacket, sunglasses, and boots. The figure is mostly black with shades of reds, pinks, grey, and whites which gives it that pixelated look like from the video game. It utilizes the same updated body as the Ultimate version which has about thirty points of articulation.

This figure is a fun addition to the VGA line up. I love that it came with interchangeable heads. Although this figure only comes with one weapon it doesn't bother me much. I have a whole arsenal of NECA Terminator weapons from other figures, and they can be easily switched in and out between them.

In all honesty, I had a lot of fun posing and snapping pictures of this VGA T-800 along with his other pixelated pals. Whether you are a fan of the Terminator line or the VGA line you will definitely want to pick this one up. Take a look below for some pictures of this the Terminator in action.
